New generation ruggedized hand held imager

The ‘imager’ becomes more and more popular and pushes away the conventional laser bar code scanner. Datalogic for example presents the Powerscan® PD7100, an industrial linear ‘imager’ which helps every warehouse employee, lorry driver as well as postman or package courier to collect all data about valuable documents, articles, products etc. without making any mistake in writing at any place and any time. He even can scan fast from a distance – very useful in warehouses – because the PD7100 reads even damaged bar codes to distances of three meters. And of course it scans in direct contact without any troubles and in a simple way.
